Winter's palette is more subdued but no less beautiful. The world turns into a serene, monochromatic landscape, punctuated by the stark beauty of bare trees against a grey sky or the pristine white of freshly fallen snow. My winter photography often has a minimalist feel, capturing the quietness and stillness of the season. I focus on the contrast of dark branches against the snow, the soft twinkle of holiday lights, and the warm glows emanating from homes.
